Direct Energy Conversion Method (DECM)

The DECM is based around proprietary technology developed by Trident Energy and established technologies used within the oil and gas market. The system has five major components:

• Linear generators designed, developed and patented by Trident Energy.
  These convert straight-line mechanical motion directly into electricity.
• Floats placed in the sea to capture wave energy (established technology).
  The floats rise and fall with the motion of the waves, driving linear generators, resulting in the immediate generation of electricity.
• A sea platform used to support the floats and generators (established technology).
• An anchoring system to moor the rig (established technology), and
• Transmission cables to transmit power back to shore (established technology).
