Sea Trials

Trident Energy has obtained consent to deploy a demonstration at its own consented site 5 miles off Southwold on the East coast of the UK. All permissions from the various regulatory authorities are in place and the company is working hard to deploy a fully functional demonstration WEC in 2010. This demonstration rig will be used to obtain performance data and operational capability prior to the design and deployment of the company’s first grid connected commercial WEC.
